The GGreg20_V3 is a sensor module featuring a pre-installed SBM-20 Geiger-Müller tube and a pulse-count output interface for seamless connection to a main controller.

This radioactive particle detector is an electronic sensor module designed for building personal ionizing radiation counters. For this purpose, the detector includes an impulse counting output to a host controller. Arduino, Adafruit, ESP8266, ESP32, and others can be used as a host controller.

The radiation level is indicated by light and sound signals. Users can also mute the audio feedback using the onboard J1 jumper to toggle the buzzer on or off.

GGreg20_V3 – a cheap and useful device for checking the “purity” of:

• mushrooms,
• berries,
• vegetables,
• firewood, etc.

This module is useful to build smart measurement devices for ionizing radiation power sensing in handheld/pocket design style or in stationary mode both for indoor or outdoor operation.

The only thing you need to start measuring ionizing radiation with the GGreg20 is any microcontroller that can count the number of pulses per unit time on GPIO.
