<p><strong>KYIV, Ukraine, June 21, 2021</strong> – IoT-devices, a Ukrainian private firm developing an ecosystem of electronic modules for the Internet of Things (IoT), announces the release of the 3rd hardware revision of its GGreg20 ionizing radiation detector. </p>

<p><a href="https://iot-devices.com.ua/en/product/ggreg20_v3-ionizing-radiation-detector-with-geiger-tube-sbm-20/" class="rank-math-link">The GGreg20_V3</a> is a sensor module featuring a pre-installed SBM-20 Geiger-Müller tube and a pulse-count output interface for seamless connection to a main controller.</p>

<p>This radioactive particle detector is an electronic sensor module designed for building personal ionizing radiation counters. For this purpose, the detector includes an impulse counting output to a host controller. Arduino, Adafruit, ESP8266, ESP32, and others can be used as a host controller.</p>

<p>The radiation level is indicated by light and sound signals. Users can also mute the audio feedback using the onboard J1 jumper to toggle the buzzer on or off.</p>

<p>GGreg20_V3 &#8211; a cheap and useful device for checking the &#8220;purity&#8221; of:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>mushrooms,</li><li>berries,</li><li>vegetables,</li><li>firewood, etc.</li></ul>

<p>This module is useful to build smart measurement devices for ionizing radiation power sensing in handheld/pocket design style or in stationary mode both for indoor or outdoor operation.</p>

<p>The only thing you need to start measuring ionizing radiation with the GGreg20 is any microcontroller that can count the number of pulses per unit time on GPIO.</p>
